The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi)
A Solemn Mass will be sung for the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday 7 June at 10:30am.
On this feast the Church honours with particular devotion the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, given for the life of the world in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. The faithful are invited to adore the abiding presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, the sacrament of unity, charity, and redemption.
All the faithful are warmly invited to assist at this Solemn Mass, said according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).
Later in the afternoon, the Annual Corpus Christi Procession will depart from Warwick Street, at 3.30pm, processing through the streets of central London towards Spanish Place via the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. The procession will conclude with Pontifical Benediction at St James’s Spanish Place, imparted by Bishop of the Forces, Rt Rev Paul Mason.
