Mass for Peace in the Ordinariate Use (London Eucharistic Octave 2026)
A Solemn Mass for Peace will be sung on Friday 5 June at 6.30pm at our neighbouring parish of Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane (WC2E 7NB).
The Mass forms a part of the wider London Eucharistic Octave 2026 programme – a week of liturgies and devotions centred on the Blessed Sacrament, culminating in the annual Corpus Christi Procession through central London.
At a time of conflict and uncertainty in many parts of the world, the faithful are invited to gather before the Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist and to pray for the gift of peace: peace among nations, within communities and families, and in the hearts of all people. Through the Sacrifice of the Mass, we commend to God’s mercy all who suffer the effects of war, violence, persecution and injustice, asking that Christ, the Prince of Peace, may reign in every land.
All the faithful are warmly invited to assist at this Solemn Mass, said according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).
