SS Peter and Paul
A Solemn Mass will be sung for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul on Sunday 28 June at 10:30am.
On this feast the Church honours the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, whose preaching and witness laid the foundations of Christ’s Church throughout the world. Saint Peter, prince of the Apostles, and Saint Paul, apostle to the Gentiles, together proclaim the unity, universality, and apostolic faith of the Church.
On this occasion, Holy Mass will be celebrated by the Rt Rev. Mgr Keith Newton PA, first Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham (2011-2024), who will mark the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the Anglican priesthood. We give thanks to Almighty God for his many years of priestly ministry and witness, and assure him of our prayers on this significant anniversary. Ad multos annos!
All the faithful are warmly invited to assist at this Solemn Mass, said according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).

O GOD, who hast hallowed this day by the martyrdom of thine Apostles Peter and Paul: grant unto thy Church, in all things, to follow the precepts of those through whom she received the beginning of religion; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
