Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
A Solemn Mass will be sung for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Patronal Feast of Warwick Street, on Sunday 16 August at 10.30am.
On this great feast, the Church rejoices that the Blessed Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory. In Our Lady’s Assumption we behold the fulfilment of God’s promise and a sure hope of the glory to which, in Christ, the faithful are called.
All the faithful are warmly invited to join us in celebrating the Patronal Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory, Warwick Street, with Solemn Mass according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who didst assume the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of thy Son, body and soul to the glory of heaven: grant us, we beseech thee; that being ever intent on things above, we may be worthy to be partakers of her glory hereafter; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
