Trinity Sunday

31 May @ 10:30 am - 11:45 am BST

A Solemn Mass will be sung for Trinity Sunday on Sunday 31 May at 10:30am.

On Trinity Sunday the Church gives glory to the mystery of the One God in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Having celebrated the revelation of God’s saving work throughout the seasons of Christmas and Easter, the faithful now contemplate the eternal mystery of the divine life itself, worshipping the undivided Unity in splendour and majesty.

All the faithful are warmly invited to assist at this Solemn Mass, said according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).

Music list:
Introit:
Plainsong – O lux beata Trinitas
Setting: Palestrina – Missa O lux beata Trinitas
Psalm: 99
Anthem: John Stainer – I saw the Lord
Hymns:
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! (NEH, 146)
The God of Abraham praise (NEH, 148)
Father, we praise thee, now the night is over (NEH, 149ii)
Most ancient of all mysteries (NEH, 147)

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who hast given unto us thy servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity: we beseech thee that this holy faith may evermore be our defence against all adversities; who livest and reignest, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
