Organ Repair Fund

The church’s chief project is to refurbish its historic organ (National Pipe Organ Register entry N17387), built circa 1791. It was last refurbished in 1960/61 by Mander and, without restoration, will gradually become unplayable. We are aiming to raise £350,000. The organ is used every Sunday to accompany our choir of either four or eight young singers who perform music from both the Anglican and Catholic traditions. The organ is also used for special services at Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, etc where school choirs are sometimes invited to participate. Organ and choral music is a central feature of our tradition and its excellence draws visitors both from across London and abroad. This fine and historic organ in the heart of the West End of London currently supports a range of public and communal musical activities and its restoration will allow these activities to expand.
