The Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Maundy Thursday)
The Mass of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Maundy Thursday, 2 April, at 7:30pm.
On this solemn night, the Church keeps watch with her Lord as he gives to his disciples the great Sacrament of his Body and Blood. In the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the commandment of charity, Christ reveals the depth of his self-giving love, calling his people to communion with him and to humble service of one another. From the altar we are drawn into the mystery of the Passion which is now set before us.
All the faithful are warmly invited to assist at this Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, said according to Divine Worship: The Missal (Ordinariate Use).

Collect:
O GOD, who in a wonderful Sacrament hast left unto us a memorial of thy Passion: grant us, we beseech thee, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of thy Body and Blood; that we may ever know within ourselves the fruit of thy redemption; who livest and reignest with the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
