Saturday 1 November in the Challoner Hall. All are welcome, though non members pay £12 to attend. Please notify the secretary at sec.echa@yahoo.com if you wish to attend. You can join the association at the event, and pay the members’ rate of £8. Gather in the church at 10.45am before heading down to the Challoner Hall. The day will consist of two talks:

11:00 1st talk Michael Stokes: The reaction of Catholic bishops to Elizabeth I’s religious settlement and a comparison to the reaction of bishops under Henry VIII Church of England

12:00 Mass

1:00 Lunch (please bring own lunch)

2:00 2nd Talk Joanna Bogle: Catholic London, its history, people, architecture and heritage.

The day will conclude at 5pm.
