Church of Our Lady of the Assumption & St Gregory

Warwick Street Parish

Dedicated to the Life of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

We are the central church of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

The Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster dedicated this parish of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory, Warwick Street, Soho, to the life of the Ordinariate in 2013. This follows the establishment of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham by Pope Benedict XVI in 2009.

The Ordinary, the Rt. Revd. Bishop David Waller, is in residence and the Rector is Father Mark Elliott Smith. The London (Central) Ordinariate Group is based here.

Please note that the church at Warwick Street functions as a normal Roman Catholic parish and all Catholics who attend Mass here fulfil their Sunday obligation.

Visitors to the main 10.30am Sunday Mass will be struck especially by the excellence of the music. The Anglican tradition on which we draw contains much sublime music and each Sunday our liturgy is enhanced by these Anglican musical settings.
